FREE ARTIST TALK + PLAY READING
Riverside Arts Center and Riverside Library present a free artist talk with award-winning playwright and Riverside resident Will Dunne. The artist talk will be preceded by a reading of Will Dunne’s 25-minute play Cape Cod Morning inspired by Edward Hopper’s painting of the same name. Moderated by Ann Filmer, a discussion will follow about art as inspiration for story, Will’s approach to writing, his work as a teacher of playwriting and what a potential student may expect in one of his playwriting workshops such as It Happened One Weekend.
Creativity Fest 2026
RAC hosts Creativity Fest in the FlexSpace on February 7 & 21, inviting the community to join in two Saturdays of artmaking led by our teaching artists, Shawn Vincent and Mr. Tee. Participants of all ages are invited to drop in between 10am and 2pm to create their own artwork on a canvas we provide. The theme this year is Grow and Gather. You come by and we provide all the materials you'll need to create your work of art. Finished canvases will be displayed in a Community Exhibition at Riverside Town Hall opening Friday March 13 from 5 - 7pm
