GALLERY DIRECTOR

Riverside Arts Center is seeking its next Gallery Director with a passion for the arts and a belief in the transformative power of art in the community. RAC’s next Gallery Director will help sustain RAC as a leading arts organization in the region. 

The Gallery Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the center’s exhibition program. This role oversees exhibition scheduling, artist coordination, installation, and deinstallation, while collaborating closely with staff, committees and volunteers. APPRENTICESHIPS

APPLICATIONS FOR YOUTH APPRENTICESHIPS WILL OPEN IN SPRING 2026

Riverside Arts Center will soon be hiring two high school age and/or college age young people for paid apprenticeships for summer 2026.  Applicants must be between the ages of 16 - 22.  Each apprentice will work approximately nine weeks between the dates of June 1 - August 14.   Hours are between 12 - 20 per week with a total of approximately 115 hours for the summer.  Rate is $15/hr for 18+ and $13/hr for ages 16-17.  More info soon on when applications will be available.

Volunteers

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

Are you looking for volunteer opportunities or do you need to fulfill volunteer hours for high school or your college admissions? Look no further! We welcome applications for year-round volunteers to help with camps, glazing, studio management and other opportunities.

If interested, please email info@riversideartscenter.com with a letter of interest and 3 references. References can be from teachers, babysitting jobs, or past volunteer work.

Exhibition Opportunities

Submission information for artists and curators -

We accept proposals for the Freeark Gallery, Sculpture Garden, FlexSpace, and the Riverside Town Hall for a limited number of exhibitions.
