Unleash your creativity and connect with others in a relaxed and welcoming environment. This class is designed specifically for seniors of all skill levels—whether you’re new to art or rediscovering a lifelong passion. Art programs have been proven to improve our fine motor skills, which help us maintain our cognitive functions as we age. This class will explore creating various types of art and is brought to you by a collaboration with Riverside Arts Center.
Senior Art Club 5-week sessions in 2026:
- June 19 - July 31 (no class July 3, no class July 10) Fridays, 10:30am - 12pm - special Senior Ceramics Art Club in RAC’s mudroom!
- Fall Session to begin in September 2026
Diane Claussen - artist, teacher, and art therapist of over 40 years - will teach spontaneous art techniques and communications tools aimed to spark creativity, fun, and relaxation!
