David Duncil combines creative leadership with a lifelong passion for grassroots artistic communities. David honed his design and operations expertise while working in both for-profit and not-for-profit institutions, including the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the University of Kansas, and American Eagle Outfitters. Currently, he is a freelance consultant helping organizations navigate creative and business challenges. His creative journey began in underground music scenes, where he played in bands, ran a short-lived record label, and promoted shows in his hometown of Pittsburgh—experiences that shaped his belief in art's power to build community. He joined the Riverside Arts Center board because he believes access to arts education and creative spaces is essential for thriving communities, and he's proud to call Riverside home with his family.
