Anne Harris is a painter, and is Associate Professor in the Painting and Drawing Department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She earned her BFA from Washington University in St. Louis and her MFA from the Yale School of Art. Anne’s paintings and drawings have been exhibited nationally and internationally at museums such as the National Portrait Gallery at the Smithsonian Institute and the European Cultural Centre in Venice; and at galleries such as Goldfinch (Chicago), Ivory Gate (Shanghai), Alexandre (NYC) and Serious Topics (LA). Her work is in public collections such as The Fogg Museum at Harvard, The Yale University Art Gallery and The New York Public Library. Grants and awards received include a Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship and an NEA Individual Artists Fellowship.
