In this mixed media studio class, will be exploring the meaning, methods, and tools that civilizations across the world have utilized throughout history to create works of art. In this process, participants will learn the significance and symbolisms encompassed in art from array of geographic locations and create pieces in the manner of the featured visual artists. Students will gain a better understanding of varying styles and influences, and become more knowledgeable and appreciative of different cultures from around the world.
