Duties include assisting in the RAC school with summer camp, glazing, clay reclaim, teacher helper, etc. The candidates chosen will also get the opportunity to assist in our galleries. Our goal is to give our Summer Teaching Assistants a new and unique experience of the inner workings of a vibrant community arts center.

Paid positions will be approximately 10-15 hours per week for up to 10-13 weeks.

Funded by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, the goal is intended to give teens valuable work experience in the arts. No previous employment history is necessary. Hours will typically be 12:30 - 5:00 on weekdays, with some Saturdays 1-5, and occasional Sundays for gallery openings and events.

All applicants must be age 16+ and currently in high school. We can work around family vacation trips when needed.
