CLASS SCHEDULE

CLASS REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Please note that you need to complete an online class registration form before paying for a class and remember your payment amount to record on the credit card transaction. You also have the option to register for a class online and pay at the Arts Center.

CLASSES AND REGISTRATION

SPECIAL DISCOUNTS
Students who sign up for two ten-week classes will receive $15 off total tuition.
Seniors, ages 65+, who sign up for any class will receive an extra 10% off the cost of any class.

NEWS AND INFORMATION
Classes: Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. RAC cannot reserve classes. All classes must be paid for at the time of registration. The RAC strongly encourages early registration as classes fill quickly. Please notify us if your child or if you have special needs. Gift certificates are available for classes and membership. If you have any questions about any of our classes, please, do not hesitate to call or E-mail us. Be aware that art classes are MESSY and that students should dress appropriately.

Exhibitions: All are welcome to visit the Freeark Gallery during gallery hours. Exhibitions, opening receptions, and artist talks are open to everyone. Refreshments always are provided.

NEW REFUND POLICY
If a class is canceled or if the schedule of a class is changed so that a student enrolled in that class can no longer attend, RAC will fully refund the tuition of that class. If a student withdraws from a course before it begins, tuition will be refunded minus a $15 processing fee. If a student drops a course any time between the first class and the middle class RAC will retain a $15 processing fee and half the cost of tuition. If a student withdraws from a course midway through the class, then there will be no refund of tuition. If you wish to withdraw from a course you must do so in person in the office or in writing.

Not attending a class does NOT constitute an official withdrawal from a course or cancellation of tuition and fees. RAC reserves the right to charge such processing fees and adjusted tuition payments to the credit card numbers given to the office by the enrolled student. RAC also reserves the right to return tuition payments with RAC checks, even if the student paid by credit card. Tuition refund payments will be processed and mailed to the students within two weeks from the date the student notifies the office of course withdrawal.

If a student wishes to cancel their registration in a one or two-day workshop they must do so ONE WEEK in advance of the class in order to receive a full refund. Cancellations with less than seven days notice are non-refundable and the full tuition will be charged.

Children should be dressed accordingly for potentially messy classes. RAC cannot assume any liability for students’ clothing or supplies. Class sizes are kept small so that our instructors may give students in-depth, individualized attention, while maintaining order in the classroom. Serious behavior difficulties can result in non-refundable termination of a student’s enrollment.

Students are expected to arrive on time for classes and to be picked up punctually at the end of class. The instructor must be notified in advance, or as soon as possible, of any late arrivals, departures, or planned absences. Your cooperation in these matters is greatly appreciated.

Classes with low enrollment will be cancelled at that time.

OTHER TYPES OF CLASSES
We at the Riverside Arts Center offers a multitude of alternative classes and art-based activities for a variety of events and organizations. They include:

BIRTHDAY PARTIES AT THE RIVERSIDE ARTS CENTER: For anyone who wants to celebrate in a creative and fun way. You pick the medium and we do the rest. Catering can be arranged for an added cost.

DESIGN YOUR OWN CLASS: Bring your group to the Arts Center and exercise your creativity. You choose the time, day and medium you would like to work in and we do the rest. Classes and workshops can range from one day to eight weeks. Contact the
Riverside Arts Center for more information.

FIELD TRIPS TO THE RIVERSIDE ARTS CENTER: We can design a special workshop for your school, day care facility, senior center, arts organization, or business. These workshops can be tailored to in-school curricula, designed to include team building
activities, or can be arranged just for fun.

RIVERSIDE ARTS CENTER TO GO: Many of the Riverside Arts Center's teaching artists are available for off-site activities. Contact us if you you would like to celebrate your daughter's birthday at school, to incorporate creative learning into your curricula, or to celebrate art at your office.
