The creative focus of this class will be seeing and recognizing pattern, composition, and abstraction in every day objects. This class is a great opportunity for AP students developing a portfolio, or creating great images for social media posts. Artist Krista Varsbergs

Your August Summer evenings are about to get a bit more interesting, but only if you join Riverside Arts Center for its Tuesday Figure Drawing Open Studio.   We will be drawing a “scantily clothed” model in the beautiful outdoor space of our art center.  With a bit of cover up we can draw outside and have artists of different ages and abilities join in as we investigate movement in form and portraiture. These workshops are uninstructed.

We will start with 2 to 5 minute gesture drawings and then move into 10, 20, and 30 minute long poses.
You don’t have to stay inside to make art, let us meet in the garden.
